Graduation from flight training at
Fort Rucker, Alabama in December 1982. Present was my
wife and one of my Tac Officers.
I don't remember his name, but I do remember he was an excellent Warrant
Officer.
My first pilot assignment was B Troop, 2nd Sqdn. 10th Cavalry
at Fort Ord. My two friends from my flight class were also in the
Squadron. Mike McNamara (left) and Mark Goodwin flew combat missions
in Desert Storm, Mike with a MEDEVAC unit and Mark with the 17th Cavalry,
101st Airborne Division.
Flying UH-1H's with D Company, 24th
Aviation Battalion,
24th Infantry Division in El Salvador
in 1985.
This was taken in the jungles of Ecuador in October 1995.
I was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment
Fort Kobbe, Panama. We were participating in a peacekeeping
mission called "Operation Safe Border".
This is what I normally do for a living. I work as a UH-60
"Blackhawk"
pilot and aviation safety officer.

Currently assigned to Patrick AFB, and the State Department
Air Wing.
The picture on the left was taken in Colombia last year and
the other in Bolivia.
